ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS (BOTULINUM TOXIN/‘BOTOX® ’)

Antiwrinkle treatments use Botulinum Toxin Type A (e.g. Botox®) to restore balance to the face and neck by creating a gentle smoothing effect and reducing the visibility of dynamic wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles are caused over time by repetitive muscle contractions. Naturally with age, there is loss of skin elasticity and these dynamic lines can become more obvious at rest and turn into static lines (present at rest).  Botulinum Toxin Type A can be used to instantly soften or eradicate these lines. Dr Chandni tailors her approach to suit your needs and achieve subtle and natural-looking results.

CHEEK ENHANCEMENT/
CONTOURING

As we age, a combination of skin, bone and muscle changes can lead to volume loss, which can leave the face looking deplete and hollow, contributing to a ‘sagging’ appearance. Restoration of the volume in the mid-cheek, as well as contouring along the cheek bone, can help to rejuvenate the appearance of the face and provide a ‘lifting’ effect. Dr Chandni uses different types of premium quality dermal filler to achieve both structural support and volume restoration in the cheeks, helping to achieve balanced proportions and a rejuvenated look.

DERMAL FILLER DISSOLVING (HYALURONIDASE)

Hyaluronidase (Hyalase®) is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid and can be used to dissolve some dermal fillers (e.g. Juvederm®, Belotero®, Teoxane®), reversing the effects of the filler.

DERMAL FILLERS (TEOXANE®, JUVEDERM®, BELOTERO®)

As we age, our skin becomes deficient in collagen and fat; this depletion accelerates from our mid 20s and worsens during the perimenopause. This can contribute to a ‘sagging’ appearance of the face. Dermal fillers (most commonly hyaluronic acid-based fillers) are used to to improve volume loss, skin laxity, fill deep creases and enhance facial contours. The exact type of dermal filler used will be selected in accordance with the area being treated, to optimise results. For example, for cheek augmentation, a firmer, volumising filler would be used to gain better structure, whereas a softer filler would be reserved for treating lips. Dermal fillers can be carefully injected to contour the cheeks, treat mid-face volume loss, sculpt and sharpen the jaw line (reducing the sagging/jowling appearance), hydrate, enhance the chin, volumize and shape the lips, soften the tear troughs (under-eye hollows), rejuvenate the hands and achieve profile-balancing and facial harmonisation.

GUMMY SMILE

A gummy smile (excessive gingival display, in medical terms) is the excessive show of gum above the top teeth when smiling. The cause of this is usually genetic but having a hyperactive or short top lip can contribute. Careful and targeted injections to relax the overactive muscle of the upper lip can help to prevent it contracting and elevating excessively when smiling. This results in a balanced, natural-looking smile.

JAW SLIMMING/
TEETH GRINDING TREATMENT

The masseter muscles sit over the jaw and can be felt when clenching the teeth. In some people, the masseters can look enlarged (due to frequent jaw clenching or genetic factors). This can make the lower face appear wider, and in some cases more masculine. Botulinum Toxin Type A (‘Botox®’) injections can be targeted at the masseter muscles and help to reduce this prominence, slimming the lower face. Bruxism (jaw clenching and teeth grinding) can also be treated using Botulinum Toxin Type A (‘Botox®’)  injections. It is a common problem, which affects people particularly during times of stress and whilst they are asleep. It can lead to headaches, pain and stiffness in the jaw (temporomandibular joint), ear pain, and damage to the teeth Botulinum Toxin Type A (‘Botox®’) injections can be targeted at the masseter muscle, weakening it and helping to alleviate these symptoms.

JAW LINE CONTOURING

With ageing, the jawline can begin to look less defined and sculpted. With time, we also notice the appearance of ‘jowls’ and sagging of our lower faces. This is due to a combination of skin, bone and muscle changes, with volume loss being a key contributor. Dermal filler placed carefully along the jaw line can help to re-define this area, create a lifting effect and reduce the appearance of the jowls. This can really help to rejuvenate the lower face, adding structure and definition back into the jaw and chin.

LIP ENHANCEMENT

With age, our lips lose volume and can appear less shapely, drier and lose symmetry and proportions. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be used to create natural-looking volume, shape, hydration and definition to the lips. Dr Chandni aims to achieve the perfect lip enhancement, most suited to your needs: whether it is a fuller lip with more volume, or a more subtle touch of hydration to the lips. Dr Chandni uses premium quality products tailored to give you the best result, whilst maintaining a natural-looking, elegant lip enhancement.

TEAR TROUGH TREATMENT
(UNDER EYE HOLLOWING)

The tear trough is a delicate area under the eye, starting at the inner corner of the eye and extending down diagonally towards the mid cheek. Genetic factors as well as ageing can lead to this area becoming hollow over time. This causes an increase in shadowing in this area, which contributes to ‘dark circles’ around the eyes and a tired, dull appearance. A specifically designed dermal filler can be used to correct this hollowing and brighten the under-eye area, creating a refreshed, brightened appearance.
