CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels are used for facial resurfacing: promoting healthy, youthful skin. When applied to the skin, they promote shedding of the superficial (and often damaged) layer of your skin, stimulating cell turnover in a safe and controlled way. This reveals new, fresher and healthier skin. Chemical peels can be used to promote anti-ageing, brighten up a dull complexion, treat pigmentation, sun damage, acne, scarring and uneven skin textures. The depth and strength of each peel will depend on your concerns, skin type, and schedule for downtime.

  • An in-depth consultation will be carried out to explore your skin goals and develop a tailored treatment plan. This will help to determine the best type and strength of peel to treat your concerns and boost your skin health.

    Dr Chandni uses a range of medical grade chemical peels (Obagi, ZO medical, Epionce). including ingredients such as glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), salicyclic acid, mandelic acid and lactic acid to target your concerns and treat your skin safely and effectively.

    The skin is cleansed and prepped before the peel is applied. The peeling agent will remain on the skin for 5-15 mins depending on the type of peel, and then neutralised. Your skin is then moisturised using a medical barrier cream and protected with a broad spectrum SPF 50.

    Superficial peels may produce some tightness and flaking, giving you a boost of radiance and glow. Deeper peels will often result in more extensive skin shedding. During your consultation, your main concerns and tolerability for downtime will be ascertained before selecting the best peel for you.

Fractional Carbon Dioxide (CO2) laser skin re-surfacing treatment is a highly advanced skin rejuvenation treatment for superficial and deep skin problems, such as acne scarring, skin textural issues, wrinkles and pigmentation with minimal downtime. Following treatment, the skin is healthier and more youthful. 

  • After a thorough consultation, incorporating your health and lifestyle factors, Dr Chandni will create an individual treatment plan to give you the best results. It is advised to stop all active skincare products (e.g. retinoids, acids) for at least 72h prior to treatment. You will also have a patch test at least 5 days in advance of your full treatment. The skin is prepped and local anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin. Your eyes are protected prior to the laser being used. The hand-held device is then passed over the treatments areas. Following the treatment, medical barrier cream and SPF 50 are applied. The skin will be red and you may experience some itching/flaking if the skin for up to 1 week afterwards.

HARMONYCA®

With age, our facial anatomy changes. Our facial bones, fat pads and supporting structures begin to shrink, and our skin elasticity is reduced, contributing to prominent nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines), marionette lines (downturned corners of our mouths), jowls and an overall sagging appearance to the face. 

HarmonyCa® is a new dual-action hybrid injectable product containing hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid component provides an instant lifting effect and the calcium hydroxyapatite stimulates sustained collagen release, showing continued improvement over time.

MESOTHERAPY

Mesotherapy is a skin rejuvenation treatment, delivering vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the skin. It can be used on the face, neck and décolletage to prevent skin ageing and help reduce fine lines, textural problems and dehydrated skin.

  • An in-depth consultation will be carried out to explore your skin goals and develop a treatment plan which will be best tailored to your needs, giving you optimal results. Prior to administering skin boosters, the skin is prepped and some local anaesthetic cream is applied to minimise discomfort. A very fine needle is used to administer the blend of vitamins and amino acid containing mesotherapy solution just under the surface of the skin, in target areas of concerns. Mild bruising may occur after treatment. Mesotherapy is often combined with other treatments such as microneedling and anti-wrinkle injections to augment results. For maximal results, a course of treatments is recommended (2-4).

LUMECCA™ IPL 

Lumecca™ intense pulsed light (IPL) treats pigmented and vascular lesions. It uses photo-thermolysis through specific wavelengths of light which are absorbed by red and brown pigments (haemoglobin and melanin) in the skin, causing them to break down. This reduces pigmentation (commonly due to sun damage), redness (often caused by rosacea), thread veins and an uneven skin tone.  

  • After a thorough consultation, incorporating health and lifestyle factors, Dr Chandni will create an individual treatment plan to give you the best results. It is advised to stop all active skincare products (e.g. retinoids, acids) for at least 72h prior to treatment. The skin is prepped, eye protection is used and the handpiece is passed over the skin at setting suited to your concerns. You may feel a warm sensation during this, and it usually takes around 25 minutes for a full-face treatment. After the treatment, a medical barrier cream and SPF 50 are applied. The skin may be red, and areas of pigment may initially appear darker before flaking away.

MICRONEEDLING USING SKINPEN, FDA CLEARED & MEDICAL GRADE

Microneedling is a form of collagen induction, and yields incredible results for improving skin texture, acne scarring, stretch marks, pigmentation and fine lines. It works by creating controlled ‘micro-injuries’ to the skin via tiny, fine needles; these are passed over the skin using a hand-held device. The skin responds to this signal, boosting its levels of collagen and elastin.  This vastly improves skin tone, quality and firmness.  It can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and other body areas (e.g. abdomen for stretch marks following pregnancy). 

  • An in-depth consultation with Dr Chandni is carried out, exploring your main concerns and establishing the best treatment plan for you. The skin is then prepped and local anaesthetic cream is placed on the skin for 20-60 minutes. A growth serum is then applied to the skin to maximise benefits from the procedure. The microneedling device is then passed over the skin, at varying depths depending on your own skin’s needs and body area being treated. The skin will appear red after treatment for a few hours to a few days depending on the depth of penetration. Healing creams and SPF will be applied after treatment. Treatment time is approximately 45-60 minutes. The results are further enhanced with 2-4 treatments every 3-5 weeks.

MORPHEUS 8: FACE, NECK, BODY

Morpheus 8 is a combined fractional radiofrequency and microneedling device used for skin tightening, lifting and tissue remodelling.  The delivery of radiofrequency energy deep into the dermis further enhances skin tightening to treat skin laxity under the chin, as well as an improvement in jowls and a sagging appearance to the face. Ultra-fine needles enter the skin at specific depths (1-4mm), and radiofrequency energy is delivered through their tips. This process causes collagen denaturation, then contraction and stimulation of new collagen. This leads to a ‘lifting effect’, with tightened, firmer, healthy-looking skin.

POLYNUCLEOTIDES

Polynucleotides are a new injectable biostimulator to stimulate fibroblasts, encourage cell turnover, enhance wound healing and promote collagen to regenerate the skin. They yield fantastic results on the face as well as other body parts (e.g. neck, décolletage, abdomen, inner thighs, knees). They help to improve scarring, neck bands and an ageing neck, hair loss, fine lines, signs of ageing and atrophy (loss of volume) and can be a great alternative to treating the under-eye area with filler. 

  • An in-depth consultation will be carried out with Dr Chandni to explore your main skin goals and develop an individual treatment plan. The skin is prepped, local anaesthetic cream is applied to the area to be treated to maximise comfort. Plenhyage XL is injected into the skin with using a fine needle or cannula. Maximum benefit is achieved from a course of treatment (2-4 treatments with a 3-4 week interval between sessions). There is very little discomfort with the treatment but, as with all injections, there is the potential for mild swelling or bruising.

  • Polynucleotides help to regenerate the skin, aiding with fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, poor texture, improve elasticity. They can help to treat the ageing neck, targeting signs of UV damage, neck bands and ‘crepey’ skin. Polynucleotides can also treat the under-eye area, where there is hollowing, pigmentation, a tired appearance and offer an alternative to dermal fillers in this area.

PRP/PRF: FACIAL AND HAIR RESTORATION

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy is second generation to Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP), with even further benefits. A small sample of your own blood is used to create an all-natural solution filled with platelets, fibrin, white blood cells and growth factors. This is re-injected carefully into the skin to boost collagen production, improve elasticity, promote healing and stimulate cell turnover. The newer generation PRF contains the highest concentration of white blood cells, fibrin and stem cells found circulating in our bloodstream. This treatment targets areas of the face that show signs of aging, like under-eye circles/fine lines and areas of volume loss across the face, as well as targeting acne, rosacea, stretchmarks, acne scarring, pigmentation, fine lines, sagging skin. PRF can also stimulate hair growth in those who have thinning hair/early signs of hair loss, helping to activate dormant hair follicles and restore hair growth.

The treatment takes approximately 60 minutes and is suitable for all skin types, hair thinning and early hair loss. There is minimal downtime after this procedure, although you may experience some redness, swelling or bruising at the injection site for a few days post treatment. Results start to become apparent within 2-3 weeks, with improved skin texture and healthier skin. Full collagen regeneration can 2-3 months, and further improvements are seen at this stage. Although you would notice benefits after 1 treatment, Dr Chandni recommends a course of 3, interspaced with a 4-6 week interval. Profound RF skin tightening is an FDA cleared radiofrequency microneedling device used for skin tightening on the lower face and body. It is a one-off treatment, with results lasting at least 5 years.
